SIFT is the abbreviation for Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, the old name of a university in Shanghai that was governed by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (now Ministry of Commerce) where the group of founders graduated from.
More importantly, it literally means selection in an elaborate and careful way, with a purpose of screening out good things. Under such circumstances, we choose to work with professionals with integrity, vision and required skillset.
Starting from a small office at Central of Hong Kong, we now have 20 investment professionals and a team of over 50 staffs.
To reciprocate the schools where we incepted both knowledge and good habits, we designed an internship system with a purpose to develop a young talent pool, with a purpose to enable them to apply what they learn in classrooms and from books into real business.
